brrrrrr...

it was NEGATIVE 11 degrees this morning when i went to work. i could NOT believe it! it has since warmed up to a blistering 2 degrees fahrenheit. we were given an unexpected day off because we were locked out of our buildings. :) perfect day to go and get some chores done.

my tasking is coming to an end this week and i will be getting about a week off from work since i haven't had a single day off since january 5th. i will probably finally pop my VLOG cherry and post one. if i can get on a roll, maybe a couple. i could do a bi-weekly vlog? and a weekly blog? we'll see. this is a lot of work.

so, i'm really starting to get some stuff done for my exit from the army. i had an MRI on monday on my right shoulder because i've been having some extreme pain for the last 8 months. it revealed that i have a tear in one of the muscles and a bone growth in my joint. i'm going to need surgery to repair the tear and to smooth away the bone growth (osteophyte). but, i opted to wait until i'm out of the army to do it. i will have a recovery period of 4-6 months, and since i'm getting out of the army in 2, i don't really have the time. i've gone this long with it, i can handle 2 more months.

so my major projects... i have this blog, i'm starting a vlog and i will be writing my 'military memoirs' with a friend. i just hope this all pans out. it's all for fun, i'm not looking at all of this as a way to make money. just something to do with my time. i also have home renovations to do with my husband and possibly selling/buying real estate. i'm excited for the future. :)
